RV-Skills: Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry: RV-Skills, an initiative by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust, is dedicated to aligning academic education with industry requirements, particularly in the dynamic fields of VLSI and Emerging Technologies. The organization provides advanced training led by industry experts, utilizing state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with cutting-edge technology and high-performance computing infrastructure to support hands-on learning and experimentation. Since its inception in 2007, RV-Skills has empowered thousands of engineers worldwide. RV-Skills was the earliest pioneer in establishing a Design Centre that caters to training the engineers on various IC Design capabilities.

History and Background

The Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust boasts an 80-year legacy in education, founded by the late M.C. Sivananda Sarma with the establishment of the RV Higher Primary School in 1940. This legacy has evolved into the RV Educational Institutions (RVEI), which now educates over 23,500 students across 30 institutions, supported by a faculty of more than 2,200 members. RVEI offers a comprehensive range of educational programs from kindergarten to postgraduate studies, emphasizing the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences to help students achieve their full potential..

RV-Skills has made a significant impact on the industry, with 60% of new graduates in the VLSI and Embedded Systems sectors benefiting from its training programs. Since its inception, the initiative has trained engineers from over 1,000 colleges across India, with a mission to produce employable and productive engineers, thereby strengthening the talent pool in the electronics and semiconductor industry.
